I feel like we're in the middle of West Side Story and the Utes and Cougars are the Jets and Sharks. When you watch the musical, it's so obvious sitting in the audience that both sides are essentially the same--good, but spirited kids. Sitting in that audience, it's also obvious that somebody's gonna get hurt in the end if they keep this nonsense up about only seeing the differences in each other. Sure enough, it takes something drastic and Maria's pointing that gun around to finally knock some sense into them. Can we just pretend that Max Hall's statement is that something drastic? Can we just decide that what happened to his family last year and how angry and illogical it made him is the finale of West Side Story where they all decide they'll play nice from now on? They're all just kids? If a U fan can't see why he's upset or disputes his story, then they're blind. If a BYU fan can't see how his comments and labeling spread the hate, then they're blind.
Eliminate the anger. Eliminate the hate. Let's start spreading some love. PLEASE? e

So well done Erin. It makes it more fun to not have the "hate" involved.

I'm calling Max to invite him. And I won't wear my "Max Hall Hates Me" hoodie. Promise.
