Whew.
Ali and Sydney do NOT have the swine flu. Syd has strep plus some virus and now Ali has that same virus minus the strep. They still have to stay home, still have fevers, achy, coughy, grumpy, but why am I so happy?! The symptoms are the same. It's just not called Swine Flu, yet I feel like jumping up and down. Why do I associate swine flu with the end of times, the apocalypse, the dark years? Why do I picture swine flu/bird flu as the pandemic that could take the human race down, down, down to their cellars nibbling on powdered eggs and rice?

Yeah! I was thinking the same thing, so relieved they don't have it, but they are still sick and it can still be passed on to baby. But a virus, that sounds much better and not nearly as harmful! Hope your life eases up a bit soon.
