Weeks before: Forever to wait. It will never come.
Days before: Wait! I have to actually have this baby come OUT. Nervousness at what could go wrong, what I have left to do.
Day before: Calm. Peace. Excitement. Whatever isn't done doesn't really matter. Clear, more eternal perspective.
I'm thankful for the women in my ward for giving me a ward shower and literally showering me with cute girl things. I am thankful for all of the help from Brett's parents and family this last week with the flood, baby's closet, moving things, etc. I'm thankful for my mom's help by taking Sydney today, and running last minute errands for me. I am thankful for my kids for their hard work the last few weeks. I'm especially thankful for Brett who is steady and sure. He just moves ahead, keeps perspective, and helps me to see the eternal rather than temporal things. I'm thankful for this quiet little town with its sunsets down the hill and the people who live here. I'm thankful to live blocks from the temple and the power and peace I feel when I go there. See you in a few..

So happy for you. The pic alone made me choke up. I'm so excited for you to be doing this again and proud of you for having the courage to do it again!

Good luck today Erin!! We're so excited to meet baby Kate! We're praying for you.
YAY! i'll be praying for you and your little girl!
I love you, Big Sis! I came home early from girls camp for your special day which is a big sacrifice because we all know how much I love girls camp! I can't wait to get that phone call today that tells me all went well.
I'm so glad to have shared some time with your family last night. That little Kate is beautiful and petite and perfect. One of my favorite memories will always be watching your kids pass that little bundle between themselves, feeding her a tiny bottle, ooh'ing and aah'ing over her ... She's one lucky baby to have so much love and your family is so lucky to have her. I love you guys!
does that mean the baby's here?
She's here!!!! Yay!!!!! Can't wait to see her in person--the pics are so cute!
It was fun texting with Maddie and Spency and getting updates throughout the day. Their messages after Kate was born choked me up; they were so sweet. Proud big sibs!
Love you!!!!
Verification word: PERSISIN;
as in, Kate is the newest persisin in the family and pretty much the cutest persisin in the world at this time!
Holla!
Congratulations on the new baby! She is beautiful.
Brady!!! What a great surprise to read this! I hope you are well. Why do I think you have a lot of girls? 4 or 5 kids? All girls? What are you up to?
We have 4 girls and a 1 year old boy. We just moved to Farmington last year and love it. I am working downtown for a Data/Telecommunications consulting firm and pluging away at life. I caught up with Misty on Facebook, she really has a problem with FB, and was reading her blog and saw that you had a new baby. You have a great looking family...
Brady
Brady- don't know if you'll read this, but I'm happy you're in Farmington. I hope we run into you sometime. I'm glad you got a boy. I love my boy. Yes, Misty is addicted to FB :) erin
